Volunteering - A New Form Of Tourism

Would you ever consider volunteering in Dar es Salaam? or maybe on a less specific scale, would you offer your services volunteering in Tanzania? Volunteering in Africa is a new phenomenon which has been gracing the continent for the last 20 years. If you have never heard of it then maybe you should sign up and give it a go.

  The volunteer experience is a one off opportunity, a once in a lifetime. Africa receives volunteers from throughout the world annually to great appreciation. This also has a profound impact on the volunteer who is able to gain many rewards and achievements for their work There are many areas in Africa that need your help and assistance. From the hustle and bustle of Nairobi to the tropical shores of Mombasa to the remote regions of northern Kenya. Africa is the poorest continent in the world and requires assistance from not only countries but volunteers who are willing to help and to offer their services for free.

Volunteering is so unique in the ways it offers opportunities to so many people in so many fields of work. You can participate in a wide range of activities from teaching English to working with animals to working as a journalist reporting on breaking news stories in Africa. The pull to volunteering for many is in fact the wide variety of choice given to them with the numerous fields of work.

Do you think if you were put in the shoes of a poor African you would be able to handle the poverty better? Probably not is the answer to that question. This is why volunteer help is so important, without it a lot of poor people would continue to struggle with no positive ending in site.  We are the only people who can make a difference, make a change for the good of the world. You gain a profound experience helping the poor destitute people of the world. Its a feeling you will never forget.
